The Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Central and Northern Pennsylvania and the Northwest Industrial Resource Center both take pride in helping clients work more efficiently. And they practice what they preach.

The Erie-based staff of the NWIRC has moved from its offices on Tower Lane to Knowledge Park, where it will co-locate with BFTP/CNP.

Why Ben Franklin? In addition to its work with entrepreneurs and start-ups, BFTP/CNP also invests in small manufacturing companies that need fucing to devellop new products or processes. Both programs can now serve their shared clients from an efficient, “one-stop shop” perspective.

“This co-location effort between NWIRC and BFTP/CNP represents an innovative approach to achieving the goals of the Commonwealth,” Ben Franklin CEO Steve Brawley said. “We’re hoping other business support programs will also look at space in Knowledge Park.”
